The Sims 2: FreeTime is the seventh expansion pack develope by The Sims Division for the The Sims 2 life simulation video game. The Sims 2: FreeTime was published by Electronic Arts and was released in EU on February 22, 2008 and in NA on February 26, 2008.
With The Sims 2: FreeTime expansion Sims can pursue employment in five new careers as dance, entertainment, intelligence, oceanography and architecture. The ten hobbies included in the expansion pack are fitness, cooking, music / dance, sports, nature, science, film / literature, games, teasing, and arts / crafts. Every Sim is created with a predetermined “preferred” hobby that can not be changed by the player. While the bar fills, the Sim is ‘in the zone’ is presented graphically as a white glow around the Sim? Challenging needs to decay more slowly than usual, to allow extra time in this hobby.
