The Sims 2 is a strategic life simulation computer game, it is the sequel to the best-seller computer game, The Sims, which debuted on February 4, 2000. The game was developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts and first released on September 14, 2004 for Microsoft Windows. A port of the Apple Mac OS X was released on June 13, 2005. Eight expansion packs and nine stuff packs released thereafter. Furthermore, the different console versions have been released. A sequel, The Sims 3, was released in June 2009.
